Biomedical Engineering is a multi-disciplinary branch of engineering that makes use of the perspective and analysis power of engineering sciences to solve problems encountered in medicine. Although the definition of biomedical engineering is made as the design, production and development of medical devices, there are many sub-fields in biomedical engineering. These areas of study include analysis and modeling of a system (nerve, muscle, etc.) using engineering methods; It may include the design and manufacture of biomaterials and chemicals in contact with the human body, or the development of new methods for diagnosis and treatment. Our department is structured in order to provide an education model that combines the principles of engineering, basic sciences and medical sciences in order to provide graduates who are competent to carry out quality academic and sectoral studies within the framework of this multidisciplinary understanding.
